  1. These prize draws are presented in conjunction with various product offers and open on 1 January 2009 and close at midnight local time on 31 December 2009. Entry is by invitation only, and is open to residents of legal age in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Philippines. Employees of Reader's Digest and its agencies, and their immediate families up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, are not eligible to participate in these draws.
  2. Eligibility for entry to the prize draws offered is dependent upon replying in accordance with the conditions and instructions in the accompanying promotional material. No purchase is necessary to enter. Multiple entries are permitted provided each entry is on an original Reader’s Digest entry form. No facsimiles or copies are permitted. In some cases where it will not be necessary to return an entry form to participate, specific mention will be made of that fact in the promotional material. When website or telephone entry is offered, entries may be submitted by following the instructions in the promotional material. Reader's Digest will accept no responsibility for entries which become lost or damaged, or delayed in transit. All eligible entries will qualify as finalists and have a fair and equal chance to win.
  3. Reader’s Digest reserves the right to increase the value of any prize on offer in one or more mailings. The decision to increase a prize value for a mailing will be totally at the discretion of Reader’s Digest and will be indicated in the promotional material for the affected mailing. Any prizes which remain unclaimed for two months after the announcement of the winners shall be forfeited and donated to charitable organizations.

  3. A winning number was randomly selected by an independent solicitor on 5 December 2008. This number was registered and enclosed in a sealed envelope and kept by the solicitor. On 13 January 2010, the solicitor will release the winning number to the Prize Award Administrator who will verify whether the person who was issued the winning number has in fact returned it as instructed, and is therefore the winner of the prize. If the winning number has not been returned, the prize will be awarded to the person who has returned the nearest number to the winning number, with the higher number having precedence in the event of two returned numbers being equidistant from the winning number. All decisions regarding the draw will be final.
